Some compititor found that our google search rank is in first page of well testing product, and also high pressure pipeline product. so that they harass our colleague. We feel very angery about this at first. but when i write this blog, i calm down and consider more about compititon. Normally, nobody can escape compitition. What we have to do is to improve ourself and win customer trust. and years later, win more market. In China, there are thousands of manufacturer who make valve, and hundreds of manufacturer who make well upstream equipments. Every manufacturer has his own surviving way and everyone should face compitition.

They attack us means that they are afraid of compition, and afraid of us to gain more market. In other words, their ability to maintain and develop customer is very very low.  so that their nature is low. They will loose market one day.

Sometimes, we also study compititor, but we learn good sides from them, the management, QA control and etc.

There is old saying in China, good good study, and day day up.

Recently, we get an order, and one of these items is Crossover, 6″ fig 602 change to 3″ fig 602. We check FMC catalog and call our Euro agent who has 30 years experience for FMC union, and result is that there is no 6″ Fig 602 in FMC catalog. Max bore size for fig 602 is 4″.  but customer insist that 6″ fig 602 is standard. Now we are waiting for customer to check the equipment he used on oilfield. We will publish the result in our comment after a few days.

It is a long time from our last article. Now china spring festival is toally finished. During the holiday, we meet family friends, chating and eating. so after holiday, our holiday weight is serious. We consider we will add more physical exercise.

Anyway, we are back to normal work.

Hope we will suppor more and more gentle custmers in 2018.

Spring festival is a traditional festival which is biggest and bustling for our Chinese people which can be traced to 4,000 years ago. 2000 B.C, an emperor Shun access and worship heaven and earth. So the day is called first day of year. And after Long-term evolution, spring festival is first day of lunar calendar.

Now before spring festival comes, everyone will go hometown to meet with family even if they are thousands miles away from hometown. And every nation in different places will have their own traditional way to celebrate the important festival. Spring festival is a day means that we need to get rid of the old to make way for the new. Spring Festival couplets would be paste on the doorframe before spring festival. The paste is made of flour.

On China New Year’s eve, family eat together and most family watch spring festival gala which is started from 1983 produced by CCTV. When 0:00 comes, every family will set off firecrackers. And firecrackers will last more than half an hour from different families.

During spring festival, china traffic is very busy, including bullet train, normal train, airline, highway traffic and etc. Spring festival public holiday in 2018 for office man will start from 14^th to 21^th of Feb. and some workman will come back to facility at 28^th of Feb. So during the holiday, our office and facility will celebrate holidays. If there is urgent order, we are sorry that we only can deal with it after spring holidays.

Choke bean is an important part of positive choke. Though it is small and simple part, but there is some issue for it. During our working experience, we have some quotation from some America company for choke manifold. And every quotation just mention choke bean. It is same to our quotation. As we know, there is tungsten carbide in the choke bean. But recently, one commodity precious metals price is crazy recently, which is Co. Co is one of important component of WC. Co’s international price is double of end of last year. So choke bean’s price will be nearly double of last year. And choke bean’s price affect choke manifold price. One of our customers just bought some choke bean two months ago, and we feel that he is so lucky.

Maybe some customers search quotation from other supplier, the price will be keep the same with last year. The reason is that they shorten length of tungsten carbide. So the life of choke bean will be shorter. If end user insists us to do this, we also can do it. But please don’t think that our price is extra higher than other’s.

Recently, we received some request for trailer mounted well testing package that some customers send us working pressure, some customers send us some equipment list without W.P, and some customers send us some pictures. But we can’t make a precise quotation to any of them, because technical request is too less. Well testing equipment is not standard equipment like valve or pump. And well testing package is customized equipment. So few manufacturer will make storage for it.

Well testing package is a complete solution for well testing job, so basic parameter like oil gravity, oil temperature & pressure, oil flowrate is very important for design the package. And working environment condition is also important.

Once we have sent full package of trailer mounted equipment to our customer which includes three trailers. So equipment that customer need decides how many trailer used. If customer only need one 42”x10’ separator, one small trailer is definitely enough. If customers need upstream and process equipment, maybe two trailers should be adopted.

What I want to say is that well testing equipment is customized equipment. So we can’t give precise quotation like other standard product in one day or two days until we get full detailed request. And only price can’t reflect manufacturer’s capabilities.

Senoil is focus on high pressure fluid product all the time for years. And working pressure is from 2,000psi to 15,000psi.  Sometimes, we forget that we also can produce low pressure swivel joints which bore size is a little bigger, from 8″ to 12″.  For low pressure swivel joints or straight pipe, we normally weld union or flange to seamless pipe or elbow. For weld process, we do WPS/PQR. For some serious working condition, we do 100% RT to inspect weld result. For swivel style, we always follow FMC.
